Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ, Minister of Health, who accompanied the Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım at Erbil Part of Irak Visit, was welcomed by Dr. Rekawt Hama Rashid, Minister of Health of Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (IKGR), at Erbil Airport on t 20:00. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ had a meeting with Nechervan Barzani, Prime Minister of IKGR and exchanged views on regional issues. Inter-delegation meeting was held with the participation of Ministers from both sides in the presidency of Prime Ministers of Turkey and IKGR at 10:00 on 8 January 2017. Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ stated that Turkey's help for health service delivery in the field of health to IKGR government will increasingly continue and we could carry our cooperation on supply of drug, vaccination and medical materials and patient treatments forward considering the importance of the communication and cooperation of two neighbor countries with each other before others and of meeting the mutual needs between each other within the bounds of possibilities.
