Prof. Dr. Eyüp Gümüş, Undersecretary of Ministry of Health, received Isameldin Mohammed Abdalla, Undersecretary of Federal Ministry of Health of Sudan, and accompanying delegation on March 07, 2017
At the meeting, Sudan delegation requested from Turkey to convey their experiences and successes on Health Transformation Program of Turkey to Sudan, prolong the training period of Sudanese physician in Turkey, share experience on fighting against communicable diseases and send a team to Sudan. Besides, they also requested help from Turkey to prolong the working period of Turkish personnel assigned to Sudan, improve ambulance system in Sudan, train the Sudanese personnel, and transfer the computerized emergency health system in Turkey to Sudan.
It was expressed that Turkey’s support would continue in these areas but easy terms for visa of medical devices while transferring from Khartoum to Nyala, accommodation for personnel and Sudanese physician and assistant for each specialty provided by Turkey were requested.
