The Prime Minister Prof. Dr. Ahmet Davutoğlu visited Serbia on 28-29 December 2015 as accompanied by Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, Minister of Health and a delegation.
Upon request of Serbia which has shortcoming of oral polio vaccination (OPV) due to refugee and migrant crisis and cannot administer OPV in half of the cities, donation of 160.000 dose polio vaccination to Serbia was found suitable and on the occasion of this visit, the relevant Donation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and Government of the Republic of Serbia was signed on 28 December 2015 by Mr. Minister Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu.
Furthermore, during the bilateral meeting between Mr. Minister Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu and Serbian Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar, a cooperation agreement was signed in the field of health between Turkey and Serbia.
