Having started his new post in Turkey, Hazar İbrahim, Ambassador of Azerbaijan, and the accompanying delegation visited Dr. Ahmet Demircan, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey on 22 November 2017. During the meeting, the parties reiterated their satisfaction for the developed cooperation between two countries in the field of health and they exchanged opinions on the following issues: possibility for the Azeri students having state scholarships to work in Turkey, opening minor specialization fields for the Azeri specialists, opening PhD programs at Azerbaijan Medical University in the field of health sciences, issues regarding increasing revenues of the Azeri medical residents who are in specialization training at the Turkish hospitals and students of dentistry, coverage of the foreign medical residents by the general health insurance and mandatory professional liability insurance.
