The Minister of Health, Dr Fahrettin Koca had a phone call with the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan, Dr. Alisher K. Shadmanov on September 17, 2020. In the meeting, Minister Shadmanov thanked Turkey for its cooperation during the COVID-19 pandemic and support to Uzbekistan and the two partied agreed that Turkey would offer consultancy support to Uzbekistan in the upcoming period.
