The European Programmes and Agencies Board was established in accordance with the Presidential Circular 2019/20 to take participation decision in EU Programmes and agencies and to follow upon activities of programmes and agencies that Turkey participates. The institutions and organizations are represented in the Board by deputy ministers and organization presidents.
During the Board Meeting of 15 April 2021, a decision was taken to initiate negotiations with the EU on six different programmes including the EU Health Programme.
The Ministry of Health was represented by Associate Prof Dr Tolga Tolunay, Deputy Minister of Health and the representatives of General Directorate of EU and Foreign Affairs in the said meeting.
