Deputy Minister Assoc. Prof. Tolga Tolunay chaired a videoconference, which was attended by members of the Scientific Committee and the representatives of the Russian Federation. From the Russian side, representatives from the Russian Human Health and Consumer Protection Agency (Rospotrebnadzor), Vector, and Rapi were in attendance.
Presentations were made at the meeting on measures adopted in Turkey, vaccination efforts, health statistics, measures adopted in tourism destinations and tourist health as part of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Questions asked by the Russian Federation about combating the pandemic and tourist health were answered.
