Russian Human Health And Consumer Protection Agency Officials' Visit to Turkey

A delegation from the Russian Human Health And Consumer Protection Agency paid an official visit to Turkey on June 15-18, 2021 with an aim to lift flight restrictions between Turkey and Russia. The delegation was accompanied by the GD of EU and Foreign Affairs, Dr. Selami Kılıç, a member of the Scientific Committee, Prof. Ateş Kara, and representatives from the General Directorate of Public Health. 
During the visit, the health measures adopted in Turkey were examined on-site and detailed information about the “Safe Travel Certificate” initiative was provided by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During the meetings held in Antalya, healthcare centers, measures adopted in certified hotels and measures adopted at airports were observed on site. 
As a result of the meetings, flight restrictions imposed by the Russian government on Turkey were lifted.
