A Health Session was held on 17 December within the scope of the 3rd Turkey-Africa Summit, which was held in Istanbul on 16-18 December 2021 under the auspices of President Erdoğan. The health ministers session on "Common Solutions in Combating the Covid-19 Pandemic and Cooperation in the Field of Health between Turkey and Africa" was held under the chairmanship of Minister Koca with the participation of African Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), WHO Deputy Director and health ministers of 13 countries from Africa.
In the session where our Minister Koca made the opening speech, technical presentations on the COVID-19 pandemic and the speeches of guest ministers took place. Minister Koca held bilateral meetings with the Minister of Public Health, Hygiene and Universal Health Insurance of Cote D'Ivoire, Pierre Dimba, Minister of Health of Djibouti Dr. Ahmed Robleh Abdilleh, Minister of South Sudan Elizabeth Acuei Yol and Minister of Health and Sanitation of Sierra Leone Dr. Austin Demby.
