Senior Secretary of the Health Department of the Ministry of Health of Bangladesh Lokman Hossain Miah and accompanying delegation paid a visit to the Ministry to discuss the implementation of social health insurance system in Türkiye and to interview with Deputy Minister Assoc. Prof. Tolga Tolunay on April 11, 2022. During the meeting, the views on developing the cooperation on health between two countries were exchanged. The issues on the health services provided in field hospital in Cox Bazar, Bangladesh in 2018 for the Muslims in Rohingya, reorganization of Bangladesh – Türkiye Health Forum in Türkiye or Bangladesh, development of cooperation via USHAŞ, and sending 1 million Doses Covid-19 vaccines to Bangladesh were discussed.
