Deputy Health Minister Assoc. Prof. Tolga Tolunay met Health Minister of Sudan Haytham Mohammed Ibrahim who was in Türkiye on occasion of the 2nd meeting of the Heads of National Medicine Regulatory Authorities of OIC Member States took place in Istanbul on 5-6 September 2022. The bilateral meeting was held on 5 September 2022 and attended also by Director General for Medicines and Poisons of Sudan Dr. Ali Babiker and Director General for National Medicines Supply Fund Badraldin Mohamed Ahmed Al-Jizoli. The meeting provided a venue for discussing short-term capacity building training for Sudanese healthcare professionals, treatment of the Sudanese patients in Türkiye, cooperation through USHAŞ and transferring experiences of Türkiye in the field of medicines and medical devices to Sudan.
