An informative meeting was held at General Directorate of EU and Foreign Affairs with the officials of the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding the health needs of the region struck by the earthquake in February. Officials from the General Directorate of Public Health, the General Directorate of Emergency Health Services and the General Directorate of Health Promotion attended the meeting.
In the meeting, earthquake response activities were discussed under the following headings: vehicles to be donated to our Ministry, emergency services, disease control, basic health services, vaccination services, physical rehabilitation, mental health and psychological support, health promotion and communication.
