With the support of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye, under the leadership of the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Institute (TÜGET) of the Health Institutes of Türkiye (TÜSEB), and in collaboration with the European Society for Integrative Medicine (ESIM), the 4th International Congress on Traditional and Complementary Medicine and the 18th European Congress for Integrative Medicine (ECIM 2026) will be held on 3–6 December 2026 at the Gloria Golf Resort Hotel in Belek, Antalya, Türkiye.
Organized under the theme “From Traditional Wisdom to an Evidence-Based Future,” the congresses are fully aligned with the objectives of the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034, bringing together the heritage of traditional medicine with evidence-based modern science, R&D, clinical practice, and innovative health technologies. Bringing health policymakers, academics, clinicians, and researchers together under one roof, the congresses aim to help shape the future of sustainable integrative health models that promote both individual and public health.
The event, which will bring together two international congresses on a single global platform, will feature representatives from more than 60 invited countries and international organizations, over 228 invited speakers, and more than 700 expected abstract submissions.
All participants with general congress registration will be able to attend four main scientific tracks at no additional cost: the Integrative Pediatrics Track, Integrative Apitherapy Track, Integrative Oncology Track, and Integrative Nursing Track. These tracks will address a wide range of topics, from evidence-based holistic care models in pediatric health and the clinical use of bee products and natural bioactive compounds to supportive and integrative clinical approaches in cancer care and patient-centered integrative practices in nursing care.
The main scientific themes of the congresses cover a broad spectrum, ranging from traditional and complementary medicine practices worldwide to education, research, and innovation; from scientific evidence, safety, and quality to international cooperation and cross-cultural exchange. The integration of traditional medicine into health systems, as well as One Health, planetary health, and a sustainable future, will also be addressed throughout the congresses.
With their multidisciplinary structure, the congresses will bring together physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, dietitians, nurses and midwives, psychologists, academics, and healthcare administrators. The concurrently organized exhibition will showcase innovative products and practices in the fields of phytotherapy, medicinal plants, nutraceuticals, apitherapy, functional nutrition, microbiota, digital health, biofeedback, neurotechnology, regenerative medicine, aesthetics, medical equipment, and health tourism.
