On October 25, 2024, Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs Dr. Aziz Alper Biten received Takero Aoyama, the former Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan, and Koji Tahara who is newly appointed to the position.
During the meeting, the possibilities of advanced cooperation were discussed on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Establishment of Japanese-Turkish Diplomatic Relations.
