Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs Dr Aziz Alper Biten attended the 156th Session of the WHO Executive Board held in Geneva between February 3-6, 2025.
Taking the floor on behalf of our country and making recommendations at the session, Director General held bilateral meetings on the occasion of the Session with the Minister of Health of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Former Minister of Health of the State of Qatar and Chairman of the Health Commission, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health of the State of Kuwait, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Norway, Deputy Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Health of the Swiss Confederation and Director General for Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Furthermore, Director General Dr Biten visited Dr Burak Akçapar, Permanent Representative of Türkiye to the UN Office at Geneva, and Şebnem İncesu, Ambassador of Türkiye in Bern.
