Under the coordination of the Directorate General for EU and Foreign Affairs, the Inspector General of the National Police of the Republic of Burundi and the accompanying delegation visited Ankara Bilkent City Hospital.
During the visit, which was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to Ankara, the delegation was briefed on Türkiye’s healthcare system as well as the structure and operations of Ankara Bilkent City Hospital. The program also included a presentation on USHAŞ and its areas of activity.
During the meetings, opportunities for further cooperation in the field of health between Türkiye and Burundi were discussed, and views were exchanged on potential areas of collaboration.
Representatives from the Directorate General for EU and Foreign Affairs also took part in the visit.
