Established to evaluate emergency health activities of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Independent Oversight and Advisory Committee (IOAC) visited Turkey on 4-6 November 2019 in order to hold meetings about the health services provided for the refugees in Turkey. Deputy Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Emine Alp Meşe received the delegation on 4 November 2019.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation also visited WHO Country Office in Turkey, WHO Field Office in Gaziantep and AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency).
