Co-chaired by Vice President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay and Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin, the 11th Session of Turkey-Kazakhstan Joint Economic Commission Meeting took place in Istanbul on 10 November 2019.
On occasion of the meeting, Health Minister Dr. Fahrettin Koca held a bilateral meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Yelzhan Birtanov.
On margin of the 11th Session of the Joint Economic Commission, Turkey-Kazakhstan Business Forum was organized which brought the Turkish and Kazakh businesspeople together.
In his speech, Dr. Fahrettin Koca underlined that “Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Health Investments was signed on 15 October 2019 in Nur-Sultan, and also a Memorandum of Understanding between the Health Development Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and International Health Services Inc. (USHAŞ) was signed on 30 October 2019.”
Dr. Koca also stated that a Health Advisor would be appointed to the Turkish Embassy in Nur-Sultan for further development of our cooperation, and technical visits would be organized to open an USHAŞ office in Nur-Sultan.
