The Deputy Minister of Health Prof. Emine Alp Meşe received the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova on October 14, 2020. During the meeting, the two parties discussed reviewing two agreements signed between the two countries in the field of health in the light of today's conditions, sharing Turkey's experience and knowledge on the COVID-19 pandemic with Ukraine, exchanging knowledge and experience in the field of health by working together on responding to the pandemic and vaccine development efforts and by organizing joint health weeks and video conferences. The Ukrainian minister expressed Ukraine's wish to become an observing member to the Turkic Council.
