Minister Koca received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Turkey, Aleksei Erkhov on January 19, 2021. During the meeting, the parties stressed the strong cooperation between the two countries, exchanged views on the memorandum of understanding that is planned to be signed between the two health ministries, establishing a joint working group, which will work on a draft agreement between ministries, and discussed vaccine development efforts and COVID-19 treatment procedures, and the cooperation opportunities offered by the memorandum of understanding signed between TUSEB and the Russian Direct Investment Fund, including in the field of joint vaccine development.
