The Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev paid a visit to Turkey to hold official meetings. The Minister also visited the Ministry of Health on February 5, 2021 and had a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Health, Halil Eldemir. At the meeting, the parties discussed the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, Turkey's support to the Kyrgyz Republic during the pandemic, response to COVID-19, vaccine-related efforts, the status of Kyrgyz patients receiving treatment in Turkey under the bilateral agreement, avenues of cooperation, and the operationalization of the newly-constructed Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship Hospital in Bishkek.
