In accordance with the Republic of Turkey Presidential Decree, dated 8 January 2021 numbered 3433, on opening of a 150-bed hospital in Fier and donation of medical devices, equipment, supplies and furniture to the hospital, an agreement was signed between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Ministerial Council of the Republic of Albania on 2 February 2021. The Agreement has come into force on 1 April 2021 by the Presidential Degree No: 3754.
In this regard, led by the Minister of Health Dr Fahrettin Koca, a Turkish delegation visited Albania for the official opening ceremony of the 150-bed Hospital on 21 April.
During the opening ceremony held in the Hospital, H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered his opening speech through video conference.
