Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ had bilateral negotiation with Dr. Rekawt Hama Rashid Karim, Minister of Health of Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (IKRG) at his office on 4 October 2016.
During negotiations, issues about increasing the number of wounded peshmargas treated in our country, support of Turkey to health reform implemented in IKRG, medical support to IKRG and potential cooperation about PPP have been addressed. Besides, the parties have agreed upon that a technical committee from our Ministry visits IKRG and performs a joint study in order to determine potential cooperation fields and makes examinations on IKRG health system.
