Albanian Minister of Health and Social Protection Ogerta Manastırliu accompanied the PM of Albania Edi Rama on his visit to Turkey on June 2-4, 2021. Manastırliu visited Minister Koca on June 3, 2021.
During the meeting, the parties discussed Turkey-Fier Memorial Hospital, healthcare system support, vaccine supply, drugs, medical supplies, medical devices, information and experience sharing related to healthcare services, and health information systems.
On the sidelines of her visit, Minister Manastırliu also had a meeting with Dr. Selami Kılıç and the representatives from the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TITCK).
During the meeting, cooperation on the direct supply and purchase of drugs and medical devices, cooperation with TITCK through twinning programs and expert exchanges within the scope of cooperation between the two countries in the field of health, cooperation with TITCK on drug and medical device legislation and regulations, and cooperation with USHAŞ were discussed.
A presentation was delivered for the minister on Turkey's healthcare system, TITCK's activities, and possible areas of cooperation.
