The Chairperson of the African Union (AfB) Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat visited Turkey on 30 September-1 October 2021, with a delegation, upon the invitation of Minister Çavuşoğlu. Dr.Ahmed Ogwell Ouma, Deputy Director General of African Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC), who was in the guest delegation, held a meeting with Deputy Director General Arif Çetin on September 30, 2021 to discuss bilateral cooperation opportunities of with the Ministry of Health.
