With the contribution of the Scientific Committee members, the online training program entitled “Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases and Management of Outbreaks” was held in cooperation with our Ministry and the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Education Center of Islamic Countries (SESRIC) on October 4-7, 2021. The opening of the said program was attended by Askar Musinov, Deputy Secretary General for Science and Technology of the Cooperation Organization (OIC), our Director-General Selami Kılıç, SESRIC General Director Nebil Dabur, and 84 healthcare professionals from 19 countries. The purpose of the training program is to share the knowledge and experience that Turkey had and gained during the pandemic with the health workers of the OIC member countries and contribute to international cooperation and solidarity.
