Members of Health Working Group from Germany-Türkiye Chamber of Industry visited General Directorate of EU and Foreign Affairs on 24 January 2023, and held a meeting with the Turkish delegation headed by Dr. Selami Kılıç, Director General for EU and Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, views were exchanged on current issues on parallel trade, pricing, harmonization with the EU in health information systems, and health tourism.
It was also discussed the role of the health working group of Germany-Türkiye Chamber of Industry in supporting the Türkiye-Germany Health Business Forum and Fair which will take place in Germany in the upcoming period with the participation of the Turkish and German private sector operating in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medical equipment and health tourism under the coordination of USHAŞ.
